Sometimes its hard for me to…
wrap my mind around the fact that…I’M GOING PLACES in my life.
People tell me everyday how proud they are of me, and its not just my parents.
Where I come from, it can be hard to get out, get away, and be someone. It’s not necessarily a bad place, I just don’t want to stay here forever. My parents would like it the other way around, but I’m moving on to bigger and better things. I will be able to strut my stuff at my high school reunion and know that I am better than what I came from. It’s kinda scary, but sometimes I find myself dreaming of my life outside of here. My future career, family, home, happiness.
Sometimes its a lot to take in and scares the crap out of me. And sometimes, I can’t wait to be the woman I know I’m meant to be…
